I'm 17, in college, and i'm going to get a car soon. I'm deciding between an Acura tsx and a convertible beetle. Which one gets better gas mileage? And which one is going to last me longer? I'm planning on getting used as well, so which year is best to buy? I also plan to travel often, so that's a factor too.
If there are any other suggestions about a better car please suggest it! Thanks :)|||Well, the TSX is an all around better car. It is more fun to drive, has more room, and looks nicer. They will last about the same, and they get about the same mileage, so it is up to you, although convertible is naturally higher maintenance, since there are more things that can break. I actually am trying to convince my dad to get a TSX as his next car, since he is currently shopping for one.
Don't get me wrong, the Beetle is a nice car, but I would personally enjoy being able to comfortably carry more people, and have a nicer interior.
Last, don't forget that overall, car choice is an opinion. If you really like convertible Beetles, go for it, you only live once.|||me personally i would gett the tsx but im a guy and the beetle more for a girl. the bettle does get better milage i think but nomore than like 2 miles but the tsx will last longer and will be better to drive around the acura brand is well known for selling good cars. volkswagen not so good. also there is the maximas or altimas that are just like the tsx but are nissan and that too is good|||i would get tsk without a qusetion. you cannot compare acura to volkswagen. acura is so much better and it looks better to and it runs better. acura is a luxury brand of honda so it has better engine. pluse beetle looks so shity.|||well if u buy a acura it sounds better if u tell some one if u have a acura that sounds better then telling them u have a volkswagen|||The acura hands down. volkswagens are more known to break down, and let's get serious....a beetle? you can do better than a beetle!|||Convertables always beat the alternatives.
