2010 Acura TSX accelerator lag and recommended gas octane?

I have a 2010 V4 Acura TSX. When I press the accelerator it lags before that car goes "vrooom" and takes off. It's not too much of a big deal. Anyways, would using 93 octane gas help this problem. Also If not, which gas should I use?

I don't know what's in the car right now, just got the car so whatever the dealer had put in.|||The lag is due to VTEC. You have a 2.4 liter engine and it has to get above 3000 RPM for the second cam to kick in. 93 octane gas won't do a thing.|||first 91 octane is recommended not required. The owner's manual also states not to use an octane less than 87. I recommend you go to the benefits of premium gas website and read it.I own a 06 6MT, bought new 11/06. I have all the service done by a acura dealer. It averages 32-35 MPG doing mostly highway driving and regular gas. It has more than enough power and performs excellent with almost 120,000 miles. still has the original brakes. The only thing you get out of using 93 octane is paying more.|||The car requires 91 octane unleaded premium fuel. Using 93 octane won't hurt but won't do anything either. If you have a lag problem, take it to an Acura dealer and have it checked out. It's still under warranty.
