I have a acura tsx 2009 and i want to hook up remote start, will this void the warranty of the car?

According to the moss-magnusson act it shouldnt, but some acura dealers would rather make you fight them. The other thing is your warranty isnt an all or nothing deal. If you installed it and your suspension fell apart the dealer would have a tough time proving the remote start was the cause of the failure. Although some would try. Just talk to the dealer you have the car serviced at.I have a acura tsx 2009 and i want to hook up remote start, will this void the warranty of the car?
Possibly. If you have to tap into the wiring harness, it just might void it. The best thing to do in this scenario is to contact the manufacturer directly, provide them with the specifics of how it is to be installed, and the product description. You want to do this in writing and request a response in writing. This way if they inform you that it will not void your warranty then you have evidence of this in the event that you have a defect that raises some eyebrows and points to the add on.
