Chevy Cobalt SS.
It blew everything else away in the Lightning Lap, which is basically a stock-car race done by a third party.
Honestly, not only is the Cobalt a better car, but seeing as 1 in 10 jobs depends on the American auto industry and if our country goes to hell, your kids won't have anywhere to work, you need to look into your moral values a bit more. The last thing we need in our country is more Imports. They're gradually killing our economy due to our lack of protective tariffs and it would take someone who absolutely HATES America to buy a foreign car, being fully aware of the cost.
Don't say that it doesn't effect you. It effects everyone. It's the reason that our country is in such horrible debt to China and its the reason we're not collecting as much in income taxes as we used to, because rather than General Motors being our Nation's largest employer, its Wal-Mart.
This isn't only an issue for OLD people. I'm 19.
Even if a Honda is assembled in America, GM, Chrysler and Ford still employ more Americans than all of the Japanese automakers combined.
If people are losing their jobs, it WILL efffect you. When our economy fails us, it WILL effect you... then you will need to consider yourself partially responsible for every bit of School budgeting that is cut, every community baseball team that loses its funding and gets shut down and every job that is lost in American Manufacturing.
In the South Stickney Township in Illinois, 70% of their tax money used to come from their manufacturing district.
Do you really want to be partially responsible for something so heavy?
I didn't think so.
Buying American makes a better world for us and for the next generation. Now, if only everyone else would open their eyes to this fact.
