Is it really worth the extra $5000 to get a V6 in the 2010 Acura TSX?

I test drove a 4-cyl 2010 TSX today and love it. I'll be test driving the V6 next week. I'm sure it has more power, but is it really worth the extra money?Is it really worth the extra $5000 to get a V6 in the 2010 Acura TSX?
Absolutely not. An Accord V6 doesn't cost that much mo0re then the 4.
Personally. I don't think so, and I'm even a car guy. Especially the way times are. 4-cyl will save on gas, 2 less plugs to buy..ect.Is it really worth the extra $5000 to get a V6 in the 2010 Acura TSX?
I think it's definitely worth it if you want the extra power...the 4 cylinder is obviously more economic, but the V6 will probably provide you with better thrills.
if you are into speeding and stuff like that , sure the V6

also if you have a lot of heavy friends (like mine) when 4 guys are with you in the car + the AC is on, the car is really weaker.



add that to 2 bags in the back, the car is dead.

if you drive alone , no much car travelling, and for the petrol saving , and not into speeding , deff the V4.



I dont think the whole 5000$ is only for the engine , sometimes few options come with the bundle, if not , its asl because people who are in the manufacturing line of the more expencive models take a bit more that other workers. so thats it.

Depends really, we all know that with the v6 you will experience more power and more of a "fun" ride. You will also be able to carry and transport heavier objects without hesitation and so forth. Plus the way people drive today a v6 will definitely keep you up there.



With an inline 4, you'll see slightly higher mp3 ratings, but even then that's entirely based on how hard you drive your car. You can get pretty crappy mpg's on a I4 if you drive it really hard and bad. Maint. is slightly cheaper as there are 2 less spark plugs to purchase and if you go to lets say jiffy lube your car falls into the 4 cylinder tier which is cheaper than 6 and 8 cylinder tiers.



In my given opinion, I'd go for the V6. You're buying an Acura, a car brand in the league of Infiniti and Lexus entry/luxury brands. Affordability shouldn't be a problem for you. At any given chance I will go for a V6 by Acura because they are tanks as it already is with their 4 cylinders.
Absolutely not. With $5,000 you can buy a turbo for the car. If you want a better car, you should just sell the Acura TSX (since it's 5,000$) and buy a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR (270 horsepower with turbo).



Otherwise instead of the TSX, just get the Acura TL or TL type S.
